Ready to take the first step?

The Salecto Magento Trainee program is your chance to take your first steps as a Magento developer. As a Salecto Magento Trainee you will embark on a six month journey, where you will work with and learn from experienced magento developers. You will be able to choose between either our backend or frontend program. Depending on your choice, you will receive structured training in fundamental Magento principles, such as: 

• PHP
• HTML/CSS
• Magento – basics
• Magento – how to create and use plugins
• Magento – class overrides
• Magento – custom attributes, custom entities
• Magento – admin grids, forms
• Best Coding Practices
• Web App Security
• Basic of GIT, MySQL, JavaScript JQuery, Ajax

As you progress through the training, you will gradually receive more hands-on experience, working on real-life projects. Before finishing the program you will have the opportunity to lead your own project from start to finish in close collaboration with our Danish department.

Become a certified Salecto developer

When you finish our Salecto Trainee program you can pride yourself on being a certified Salecto developer. We will provide you with a certificate of completion, which you can bring along with you throughout your career. The best students will also have the opportunity to continue their journey at Salecto as a full time developer.

Do you have what it takes?

That being said, our Magento Trainee program might not be for everyone. It is an intensive program with a steep learning curve for ambitious developers. We do not expect you to be an expert in Magento. However, you should meet the following requirements. 

Backend developer Basic skill :

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, Jquery, HTML5, and CSS3
• Basic Understanding of PHP programming and MySQL databases
• Good communication or At least they should have a good understanding skill
• Fast and self-learner.
• Interested in coding and ready to take challenges.

Front End developer Basic skills:

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript/Jquery
• Knowledge in  less/scss, git, Magento
• Fast and self-learner
• Interested in coding and ready to take on challenges.
